Eighteenth Film Society Meeting - Spring 2021

Cavalry a blaze! Trumpets soaring! Tomorrow we ride into battle! Praise be the Gist! (Praise be the Gist!).

We watched O Brother Where Art Thou - directed by The Coen Brothers (2000). It is not a Christian film, but it does harbor some spirituality. If you would like to know more about the Coen Brothers, I would check them out. It was a surprise Steve Buscemi was not in this movie, he would have made a great devil. Do not look to hard at each joke, they are all references to something. If you do not get a joke, ask your father.
