About Film Society

Southern Illinois Film Society started in humble beginnings as a group of college friends. Their Facebook page's first post was a repost of Welcome to the Night Vale's quote, "A bunch of starlings is a murmuration. A bunch of otters is a romp. A bunch of spiders is in your sock drawer." And we stand by that quote.

Matt Gordon and Sarah Zeman, along side Sarah Niehoff, and others were the founding members of our Film Society. We thank them, and those who joined us last year for supporting this rank RSO.
